Lamp Community Celebrates 25 Years
This past week, Lamp Community friends, longtime supporters, and staff gathered at the home of board member Jeffrey Moskowitz to commemorate a quarter century of permanently ending homeless.
Lamp Community has come a long way since a small group of brave individuals opened up a day center for some of Skid Row’s most vulnerable residents. Each year, the agency’s housing and services help transform the lives of more than 1,200 homeless and formerly homeless men and women.
As we look to the future, Lamp remains every committed to permanently ending homelessness, improving health, and building self-sufficiency among men and women living with severe mental illness.
