Lamp Art Project Accepts Donations, Celebrates Grand Re-Opening at Lamp Village
This summer, Lamp Art Project moved from its previous location on 7th Street to Lamp Village, where even more Lamp members will be able to take part in this extraordinary program. The Art Project hosted a Grand Re-Opening Show on Sept. 8 to celebrate the work of these artists and the program’s new home.
In addition, What Can I Do? Campaign recently partnered with Blick Art Supplies to offer a discount to those who donated art supplies to Lamp Art Project.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of volunteers, the Art Project received materials including assorted paper, canvases, paints, drawing supplies, brushes, and a lightbox — supplies that will help Lamp artists express themselves through creating.
If you are interested in donating gently used supplies of your own, please contact Lamp at (213) 270-9022, or schedule a visit by e-mailing Lamp Art Project Manager Hayk Makhmuryan at haykm@lampcommunity.org.

As always, Lamp is grateful to its volunteers and friends for their enduring support of this program, and for helping to create both art and a community of artists. Thank you.
