Supplies, Volunteers Needed for Lamp Lodge Garden Project

This fall, Lamp is taking advantage of L.A.’s year-round gardening opportunities to build a community garden at the Lamp Lodge! With your help, we can transform the spaces pictured here into a beautiful, functioning community garden that members, staff and the neighborhood surrounding 660 Stanford Avenue can enjoy.
Lamp is looking for both volunteers and supplies to create these new outdoor areas. More specifically, the Lodge Garden Project needs:
- Cedar or Redwood box planters or lumber
- Mulch or ground cover
- Top soil
- Rakes
- Shovels
- Hoes
- Garden gloves
- Paver stones
- Weed control fabric
- Seedlings and small vegetable and flowering plants
- Watering buckets
If you would like to volunteer to be a part of this project, or if you would like to donate supplies, please contact Kelly Thomas, Development Coordinator, at (213) 270-9040 or kellyt@lampcommunity.org.
Lamp invites you to join us in this exciting endeavor — to have a piece of Lamp artists’ work of your own! Proceeds from all Lamp art sales benefit Lamp Art Project.
